dent of the National Conference
of Christians and - Jews and
southwestern regional director,

"The Perils of Peace" will be
the subject of the introductory
sermon which Rabbi Leon Fram
will deliver Friday night, April
13, as the opening of a series of
sermons on problems that will
arise when victory comes. The
Sabbath Eve services of Temple
Israel will be held in the lecture
hall of-, the Detroit Institute of
Arts at 8:30 p.m.
Discussion will be invited in
the symposia which will follow
the sermons.
Jack Levy, son of Mr. and
Mrs. David S. Levy, will cele-
brate his Bar Mitzvah on this
_ Sabbath Eve, and at the social
hour following the service Mr.
and. Mrs. Levy will be hosts to
the entire congregation.
. Temple Israel is making plans
for the prayerful observance of

Mr. Harrison will have return-

tional Board of Directors in New
York, at which Max Osnos and
Fred Zeder represented the De-
troit Round Table, and will have
a message on plans of the Con-
ference for the ensuing year.
Dr. Alvin.D. Hersch, who spoke
in - a number of camps - in the
Southwest. recently, under Mr.
, Harrison's direction, _also will
serve as.host at the luncheon. •

sermon at Temple Beth El in
Flint, Friday, April 13, . after
meeting with several civic groups
of Flint.
