Interfaith Tribute:

Catholic, Protestant and Jew joined in tribute to
Henry Monsky, president of Bnai Brith, at a testi-
monial dinner on Feb. 26, at Hotel Commodore, New York City, sponsored by the Metropol-
itan Council- of Bnai Brith, in behalf of the Joint Defense Appeal of the American Jewish
Committee and the Anti-Defamation League of Bnai Brith. The JDA announced its 1945 goal
at $4,000,000. Shown above with HENRY MONSKY (right) are FR. EDWARD G. FLANA-
GAN (left), Founder of Boys Town, and CAPT. M. M. WITHERSPOON, District Chaplain of
the Third Naval District, who spoke before the more than 1,500 members of the Metropolitan
Council who were present at the dinner in Mr. Monsky's honor.
