Detroit Jewry Breaks All Records for Fund-Raising, Max
Osnos Announces at Victory Dinner; Site for
Project Is Tentatively Selected

Detroit Jewry has broken all records for fund-raising by
subscribing $2,210,000 for a Jewish hospital., with the possi-
bility in view of an additional large sum to be obtained from
other contributors, Max Osnos, chairman of the sponsoring
c ommittee, announced at the victory dinner meeting held
Tuesday evening at the Hotel Statler.
