Dina Halperin . and Muriel Gruber excelled in their acting. Misha Fishiohn plays an inter- esting role, and in the- main the entire cast did .well. But the entire performance is slow moving and this reviewer left the hall greatly disappointed. H. LeiviCk, the author did not 'do justice to the great drama that was enacted two years ago when. the Jews in Waysaw fought against_ the Nazi terror unto death. The production does not measure up to the historic -oc- currence of the 1943 Passover.. . Consequently, the actors do not produce what is expected. The din of battle is unreal, and so is the entire plot which', in view of the theme, should have been a fast-moving and dramatic interpretation of current history. Mr. Leivick could . have done better—and. had he . measured up to the great drama the actors would. have responded better. And this review would have been more. favorable.
