Jewish Homeland . . .

The modern tragedy of the Jewish people is beyond words.
In a world filled with unspeakable suffering the share of the
Jew in that suffering has been greater than that of all others.

Greater absorptive capacity of Jewish Palestine through
the expansion of its agricultural and industrial economy and
cooperatives .. .

Nor can the Jewish people be consoled—with the increas-
ing thousands of its slaughtered lying before it.

Greater encouragement and support to the 136,000 mem-
bers of the Histadrut, the pioneer vangaurd of Palestine's
Jewish population .. .

An end must come to this massacre of a people! An end to
a most appalling chapter of human misery—of concentration
camps and extermination centers. An end shall come to all this!
For there is Palestine!

The world must and will heed the call of Jewish Palestine
and of the HISTADRUT: "Give us these people now! We have
a home for them! The home which they want and in which
they will live again in freedom and in security!"

THERE IS NO TIME TO LOSE! We, all of us, must strain
all efforts toward:
Greater borders for Jewish Palestine through the settlement
of new hitherto untouched points in the Galilee in the north
and in the Negev in the south . .

Greater aid to the remnants of European Jewry—their

the sound basis of the economic, social and cultural achieve- \
ments of the last three Chalutz decades.
