Enroute from New York City where she spent a few weeks with
her family to her home in San Francisco, Calif., Miss Bess Stein-
berg is spending a week as the guest of her brother and sister-in-
law, Mr. and Mrs. Myron Steinberg of Webb Ave.
Mrs. Maurice Morse of Wildemere Ave. has returned from
Milwaukee where she visited with her family.
Walter Irving of the Indian Village Manor has left for Los
!Angeles, Calif., where he will spend a few weeks.
Mr. and Mrs. Norman Buckner and their daughter, Audrey, of
Pontiac have returned from a Week's stay in Chicago.
Mrs. Alex Cohen of Calvert Ave. has returned' from Lansing,
where she attended the sessions of the Michigan State Nurses As-
sociation.
Dr. and Mrs. Samuel B. Danto of Chicago Blvd. have returned
from a visit in New York City and Boston.
Mrs. Morris JacObs of Glynn Ct. is visiting her family in
Birmingham, Ala.
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Aaron of Glendale Ave. have returned
from a few weeks' stay in French Lick, Ind.
Lt. Leonard Stone, who has recently returned from overseas
service, is spending a month's leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs.-
David Stone of Chicago Blvd. before going on to his new post at
Santa Anna, Calif.
Mr. and Mrs. William Roth of Canterbury Ave. are spending a
few weeks in Hollywood, Fla.
Mrs. Harry Cohen of Oakman Blvd. has returned from a visit
in Pittsburgh.
Mrs. Louis Altschuler has been notified that her husband, Dr.
Altschuler, who is stationed in New Guinea, has been promoted to
a Captain.
Miss Sid Radin of New York City is visiting her parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Morris Radin of Hazelwood Ave.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Faber of Chicago Blvd. are spending the
winter months in Miami Beach, Fla.
Mrs. Alfred Ross of Chicago is the guest of her husband's
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Rosenzweig of Cortland Ave. Mr.
Ross is expected to arrive next week to spend a few days with his
_family.
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Satovsky of Chicago Blvd. are spending
the winter months in Palm Beach, Fla.
Mrs. Harold Felstein and her small son, Jerand, of Stout St. left
on Tuesday to spend a month in Fort Worth, Tex., and Oklahoma
City, Okla., visiting with members of her family.
Mr. and Mrs. Leopold Truding of Hazelwood Ave. have re-
turned from a 10-day stay in New York City.
Mr. and Mrs. Herman Rodin have returned to their home in
Los Angeles, Calif., after a visit with Mr. Rodin's mother, Mrs.
Fanny Rodin, and his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. A. 0.

Mrs. Ethel Shorr of Muirland Ave. is expected home this
week-end from a stay in New York City.
Alexander Goldsmith of Sturtevant Ave. has as his guest his
daughter, Freda Goldsmith of New York City, and his son-in-
law and "daughter, Capt. and Mrs. Seymour Wilhelm. Capt. Wilhelm
is on leave from his post in Ogden, Utah.
Joseph Klimberger of Hazelwood Ave. has left for New York
City -where he will make his home.
Mr. and Mrs. Max Simon of 15350 Muirland Ave. will entertain
a group of friends and relatives at their home this Sunday in
honor of their brother. Sgt. Myer Brenner, who is home on a 30-
day furlough, after having spent almost three years in the Pacific
area.
Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Rosenzweig of 2745 Cortland Ave. will be
at home on Sunday, Feb. 4, from 3 to 6 and 8 to 11 in honor of their
50th wedding anniversary.
Mr. and Mrs. Philip Marcuse of Glynn Ct. have returned from
a week's stay in New York City.
Mrs. Felix Mahler of Whitemore Rd. is in Albany, N. Y.,
where she is visiting with members of her family.
Mrs. Samuel J. Lewis of Longfellow Ave. returned on Monday
from a short stay in Kalamazoo.
Dr. Samuel J. Levin of Canterbury Rd. has returned from a
few days' stay in Pittsburgh where he delivered a paper at the
International Forum on Allergy.
Mr. and Mrs. • Samuel Hartman of Shrewsbury Rd. have return-
ed from a short stay in New York City.
Mrs. A. M. Hershman of Calvert Ave. returned on Wednesday
from a few days' stay in New York City and in Philadelphia where
she went to attend the marriage of her nephew, Jacob Lewin-
Epstein, to Miss Faye Lieberman.

the American Jewish Congress
will have the final rally tea this
Friday at 1:30 p. m. at the home
