Members in the Twelfth Street
Council Center are being enrolled
by a committee composed of Mrs.
Sidney J. Allen, chairman; Mrs.
Oscar Zemon, co-chairman, and
Max Raimi.
Since the opening of the Coun-
cil Center in December, a liberal
policy of guest membership has
been maintained and cards have
been issued to all persons attend-
ing the Center. With the recep-
tion period over, membership is
required for participation in ac-
tivities of the Center and for use
of its facilities.
In addition to using the
Twelfth Street Council" Center,
members may take advantage of
the entire program offered by the
Jewish Community Center at
Woodward and Holbrook. In-
cluded is use of the gymnasium,
swimming pool and participation
in cultural and social programs.
Memberships from both addresses
are honored at either location.
The Twelfth Street Council Cen-
ter already has a membership of
over 100.
For children under 14 years of
age, membership is $4 a year; for
intermediate boys and girls 14 to
17, $5; a full membership for
young men 18 to 20 is $10, and a
social membership for this age
group is $5. For young women
the full membership fee is $6;
social membership, $4. The high-

use of the health education de-

many Detroiters, died on Sunday.
Burial took place in Judah Touro

Miss Bloom, a retired Cincin-
nati school teacher, was the sis-
ter of the late Mrs. Fred Mary-
mond. Her death, according to
Fred M. Butzel, releases her
share in the Marymont Estate for
use in the Jewish Community
Center, Jewish Social Service
Bureau, Jewish Child Placement
