THAT WILL LIVE
IN THE NEW JEWISH HOSPITAL

IN THE HALL OF LIFE, centrally located in our new Detroit hospital under Jewish auspices,
will be perpetuated the names of those whose gifts have made possible ,the establishment of this
arsenal of health and the names of their loved ones whose memory they cherish. -

All such gifts will be permanently commemorated by appropriate inscriptions.

Benefactors will also have an opportunity of applying contributions to specific building needs in
the Hospital. These contributions, given toward the Building Fund, of course mean that the money
will be used to pay for the construction and equipment of the Hospital, and that the wing, depart.
anent, division, unit or room will be named in honor of the living or in memory of the departed.

THE HALL OF LIFE

The Hall of Life will house a Humanity Book to honor the
living and a Memorial. Book in tribute to the departed.

These books will be decoratively bound In leather, plastic or
silver, and kept in a glass-enclosed case prominently located
and attractively illuminated, with-inscriptions recorded on
leaves of parchment.

THE HUMANITY BOOK

devoted to an inscription, as follows:

service, 1945."

proximately 15 x 12 inches each, and a page will carry ten

inscriptions or less, depending on the amount of space as-
signed to .a contributor in relation to the amount contributed.

giving by - the founding contributors of the Hospital, there

will be recorded in the Hall of Life the designated purposes
of gifts to defray the costs of furniture, furnishings and
equipment of departments and rooms throughout the build-
ing, as indicated by the donors, along with the names of
those to whom tribute* is being paid.

In years to come, the children of today will look with
pride and look again with sentimental affection at the
record of benevolent helpfulness by their parents and grand-
parents, at the time when the Jewish Hospital of Detroit

,

was established and outfitted and equipped for the first time.

Appropriate plans for recording gifts in other

denominations will be announced

Benefactors wishing more detailed information
