Bring Cheer to Servicemen:

For more than three /years, hundreds
of hostesses from numerous local organizations have provided hospitality for se (rVicemen under
the supervision of the Detroit Army and Navy Committee of the Jewish Welfare Board. It is
estimated that more than 200,000 servicemen and women participated in events supervised by the
JWB—at the Downtown USO, at the Jewish Center; at the Great Lakes Club at the Belcrest, at
the Standard Club as well as at Romulus and at Forts Brady and Custer.
