Hochman had appeared frequently as a violinist before this association_ -as *ell as, other Jewish groups, having vol- unteered his services to various causes. S-Sgt. Louis Aaron Killed in Action Word was received here this week that S/Sgt. Louis Aaron was killed in action in the battle of Leyte on Oct. 20. He had- been in active service since Pearl Harbor and had par- ticipated in the battle of Attu. He had been accorded many dis- tinctions while in service. Surviving•. him are his wife, the former Jean Remer, to whom he was married 10 months ago; two sisters, Rose Granitz and Betty Aaron; and four brothers, Samuel S., Zal, Cy and Cecil. S/Sgt. Aaron was well known in many Detroit circles and was active in local Bnai Brith.
