JWB Urges Cooperation
in Compiling War Records
It is believed that between 9,000 and 10,000 Detroit Jews
are serving in the armed forces of the U. S., but the names of
Only 7,600 are included in the compiled record of the Detroit
Army and Navy Committee of the Jewish Welfare Board.
• Much Of the information in the known list is incomplete
and the War Records Committee of the J.W.B. renews its
appeal to Detroit Jews to assist in securing complete infor-
mation about our servicemen and in providing the names of
service men and women, and facts about them, not now in
the committee's possession.
To guide Detroit Jews in providing information about
servicemen, The Jewish News publishes an additional list of
Servicemen in this issue.
War records blanks are available from the Army and
Navy Committee at 8904 Woodward, MA. 8400.
