ary world—Alec Templeton, who
is a concert pianist of the high-
est rank and an inimitable im-
provisor and vocal mimic. He will
appear here Monday evening,
Dec. 4, at the Masonic Auditori-
um.

Mrs. Jaffe has been actively
interested in the Center for sev-
eral years, since 1941 as a mem-
ber of the board of directors,
and now as vice-president. (Sam-
uel H. Rubiner is the other Cen-
ter vice-president). She has been
identified with Temple Israel
and is now treasurer of its Sis-
terhood, and is on the boards of
Hadassah and Detroit Section,
National Council iivf Jewish Wo-
men.
Have Two Children
She, is married to Benjamin E.
Jaffe, president of the Jewish
Social Service Bureau. They have
two children, a son, Miles, 17, a
student at the University of
Chicago, and a daughter Irene,
14, attending high school in Roy-
al Oak.
