will culminate with a banquet
on Jan. 14, at the Shaarey Zedek.

NEW YORK (JTA) — T h e
World Jewish Congress has an-
nounced that its War Emergency
Conference, scheduled to open in
Atlantic City on Nov. 12, has
been postponed to Nov. 26, in or-
der to permit delegations from
Palestine, Argentina and France
to arrive in time.
(In view of the postponement
of the emergency conference,
Leon Kay, president of the De-
troit Chapter of the American
Jewish Congress, announced this
week that the planned Detroit
Congress meetings of Nov. 22 and
30 have also been postponed and
new dates will be announced
t next week).
