She understood him ... He could
talk to her . . . She fell in love

. They were married . . . That
was over a year ago and both

of becoming proud parents .

have a Hebrew teacher who loves
to smoke cigarets - if they be-
long to someone else . . . When-
ever at their home for a lesson,
his first act is to reach for the
cig box and light up . . . Well,
one night he came over, the whole
family was sitting around, and, as
per schedule, went for the box ...
Only this time, they were menth-
olated, and if there is anything
he can't stand, it's those throat-
coolers! . . . One puff and he let
out the most sincere "phooey!"
he'd emitted in a long while .. .
It was a good laugh for the
Solomons, who then offered him
another cigaret . . . He took no
chances, though, and smoked one
of his own!

IRVING GLUCKLICK opened
a new clothing emporium and it
has been the scene of some red-
hot hum-drumming these past
weeks . . . The reason? . . . He's
actually giving away free packs
of cigarets to anyone coming
up to the top of the stairs and
asking for them . .. Iry himself
doesn't use 'em . . . He's a con-
firmed pipe smoker!
