ing them. We find that people
are more than ever concerned
with talking over what the post-
war changes will mean for them
and how they can best build a
community life which will give
them a basis for security in an
uncertain future. All this makes
the holding of our Regional Con-
ference more than ever urgent."

[ TMs is written to answer the inquiries of our patrons as to whether
there would be a Storewide Anniversary Clearance Sale at Ben
Pupko's after the Holidays.
The Answer is
YES!
Yes . . . The traditional storewide Anniversary Clearance Sale that
follows the holidays will be held. We will again clear our stocks re-
gardless of general conditions ... regardless of the difficulties we
will experience in making replacements. Ben Pupko says, "my cuss
tomers have always looked to my after-the-holiday clearance sales
as an opportunity to make worthwhile savings on the fine things
they need for their homes. I am going to maintain this traditional
sales event at whatever cost . . . my customers will get the same
chance to save this ,year."
Naturally, wise shoppers do not need to be told that under prevailing
conditions quantities must be limited. We urge early shopping to
avoid disappointment.
