Red Cross is now making its
plans for post war activity and
is issuing a call for more staff
assistants to be fitted into a. pro-
gram that will last long after
hostilities have ceased.
Women who have had business
training, 'stenographers and typ-
ists are badly needed - now, and
their _services will be required
in practically all departments of
the Red Cross - for many -years'-to
come.
A special _course of training
for the staff -assistants will begin'
Sept. 26 and run through Oct. 17,
under the • direction - of Mrs.
Frank A. Patterson, chairman of
staff assistants. Those wishing to
assist the Red. Cross are asked to
