Miss Madeleine Brodie of Chicago Blvd., who recently returned from the Northwestern Summer School, spent .a. few weeks with her family in Detroit and will resume her studies at Northwestern, for the Fall session, returning on Sept. 10. Miss Shirley Beswick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Bes- wick, leaves Sept. 8 for Chicago where she will attend the Art Institute. Miss Beswick will reside at the Three Arts Club while at school. Miss Betty Goldberg of the Belcrest has returned to her home after spending a two-week vacation with relatives in the East. Rhoda Zahavie has returned- from New York where she spent her two months' vacation studying voice with Enrico Rosati.
