Siegel, for many years •a prominent merchant in Detroit, died in Allerton, Mass., on Saturday, Aug. 12, at the age JERUSALEM (WNS) — Berl Katznelson, 52, prominent Pales- tine Jewish labor leader, editor of the country's largest Hebrew daily newspaper, Davar, died here of a hemorrhage on Aug. 12. The body was taken from Je- rusalem to Tel Aviv and then northward for burial in the co- , operative village of Kinnereth, along the Sea of Galilee. When Mr. Katznelson came to Palestine from Russia in 1909, he worked as an agricultural laborer in Kinnereth. He was buried there in accordance with his last wishes. LATE WILLIAM B.
