Mrs. Robert J. Spiegel and her daughter, Bobette, of Monica
Ave. have left for Indianapolis where they will visit Capt. Spiegel
who has returned from two years overseas duty and is convalescing
at Benjamin Harrison hospital.
Mrs. James Wineman and her son, Henry II, have returned to
their home in Washington following a visit with Mrs. Wineman's
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert D. Robinson of Chicago Blvd. and Lt.
Wineman's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wineman of Hamilton Rd.
Mrs. Martin Butzel and Mrs. Edward Rothman, both of Bir-
mingham, left Wednesday to visit their brother-in-law and sister,
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Winston at their summer home in Vermont.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Laib of Strathcona Dr. have invited a
group of friends to a dinner at Franklin Hills Country Club this
Friday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Douglas I. Brown of Lucerne Ds. are taking the
week-end cruise to Mackinac Island.
Dr. and Mrs. Willard Mayer and their son, Martin, of Boston
Blvd. are spending 10 days in New York City and Atlantic City.
Robert Enggass has returned from his studies at Harvard Uni-
versity to spend his vacation with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence
Enggass of Cumberland Way.
Miss Joan Marcus of Cincinnati is spending a week as the guest
of Miss Norma Wittelshofer of Boston Blvd.
Lt. Henry Ehrlich has returned from Panama where he was
stationed and is visiting his mother, Mrs. Joseph Ehrlich of the
Belcrest Hotel.
Mrs. I. L. Polozker and Mrs. Eugene Sloman, both of the Bel-
crest Hotel, are leaving this Friday to spend the remainder of the
summer in Mackinac Island.
Maurice Enggass, his daughter, Barbara, and his son, Peter,
are leaving shortly to spend a few weeks in Charlevoix.
Mr. and Mrs. Max Mann and their daughter, Barbara Joan, of
Leslie Ave. are vacationing in Frankfort.
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Hartman have moved. from Broadstreet
Blvd. and are now residing at 19900 Shrewsbury Ave.
Mrs. Walter Politchek, her daughter, Linda, and her son, John,
are spending the summer. with Mrs. Politchek's brother-in-law and
sister, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Fechimer of Huntington Woods.
Mr. and Mrs. Philip Marcuse and their son, Philip Jr. of Glynn
Ct. are spending a few weeks in Charlevoix as guests of their
mother, Mrs. Isaac Gilbert.
Pfc. Jack D. Hamburger is leaving this Friday to return to his
post with the 13th Armored Engineers at Camp Bowie, Brownwood,
Tex., after spending his 14-day furlough with his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Charles Hamburger of Chicago Blvd. His brother-in-law and
sister, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Kraft of Gary, Ind., spent the last
week-end with their family.
Mr. and Mrs: Oscar F. Grey and their family of Pennington Dr.
have been spending the last few weeks in Frankfort.
The Misses Jeanette and Ruth Caplan of Whitmore Rd. spent
the last week in Chicago.
Mrs. J. J. Marks of Broadstreet Blvd. returned Thursday from
Lexington, Mich., following a short visit with Mr. and Mrs. Abraham
Glazer.
