250 men and women in the serv-
ice, is sponsoring an all-day pic-
nic on Sunday, at Lola Valley
Park, on Fenkell, three-fourths
mile past Telegraph Road. Re-
freshments and entertainment
will be provided. Proceeds will
be used to send packages to men
and women in uniform.

bitzin Eisenman Beth Jacob Me-
morial Fund of Detroit that
contributions will be accepted
from organizations and indi-
viduals wishing to honor . the
name cf the late Mrs. Michle
Eisenman.
A large number of people who
attended the funeral service held
at Beth Tefilo Emanuel, June 8,
expressed the desire to perpetu-
ate her memory through the en-
dowment of a religious educa-
tional institution. It was decided
to dedicate this fund for the
local Beth Jacob School and
Kindergarten, established by the
Ladies of Yeshivath Beth Ye-
hudah for the training of Jewish
girls in traditional Judaism.
Mrs. Alvin B. Levin, daughter
of Rabbi Joseph Eisenman, has
assumed the secretaryship of the
Rebitzin Eisenman Beth Jacob
Memorial Fund of Detroit, and
checks should be mailed to her
at 1955 Taylor.
Mrs. Eisenman's memory will
be honored at a memorial meet-
ing on July 6, after Sheloshirn,
at Yeshivath Beth Yehudah,

Epstein to Lead AJC

chairmanship of the American
Jewish Congress. Commission to
Combat Anti-Semitism, it was
announced by Dr. Stephen S.
Wise, president of the Congress.
Mr. Epstein succeeds Carl Sher-
man, former State's Attorney
