Hebrew University Ships Typhus Serum to Russia JERUSALEM (JTA) — T h e Bacteriological Department of the Hebrew University this week sent 25,000 cubic centimeters of anti-typhus serum to Russia. The serum was shipped by airplane by way of Teheran. It is a gift. to Russia from the Uruguyan Jewish Committee to Aid the Allies. Hadassah University Unit Launches 1944 Honor Roll Canipaign At a garden party held Tues- day at the home of Mrs. Max B. Kerner, plans were launched for the Honor Roll drive of Hadassah by the University Unit of Hadassah. Mrs. Harry L. Mrs. David Cooper, president of the unit; presided and intro- duced the newly-elected officers and members of the board.
