Because Hudson has so little vision that he.. cannot read or-1 dina•y print, from 14 to 16 hours of reading are required each week for him to keep up with his courses. The nine Jewish girls offered to do all this read- ing. Hudson insisted on making a modest payment and so the • girls accept approximately 30 cents an hour and contributed the money to the Jewish Na- tional Fund.
