Dr. and Mrs. Maurice C. Goldstick of 217 Cowley Ave., East
Lansing, MiCh:, will hold open house Sunday night in honor of the
confirmation of their daughter, Ellen.
The Bar Mitzvah of Henry L. Green, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Albert Green, was observed last Saturday at Congregation Shaarey

Canterbury House. in celebration of her 11-th birthday.
Lt. WilliarrilI'Poplack and his bride, the former Eleanor. Wolf,
are home With- their parents for a brief stay before reporting to his
new assignment. Lt. P-oplaek, after 14 months of training, in the
U. S. Army Air Force, received his wings on May 23, at Moody
Valdosta, Ga. In honor of the couple's homecoming, and
their marriage which took place several months ago in Sumter,
S. C., a reception will be held M the home of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel
Wolf, 17135 Parkside, 8 to 11 p. m. on _Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. W. Zimmerman of 3277 Carter Ave., announce the
graduation of their daughter, Marilyn, on Sunday morning, from
Congregation Briai David.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold E. Ziv have as their guest Mrs. Ziv's
mother, Mrs. Walter Schoenbach of Chicago. They. are expecting
Mr. Ziv's parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Ziv and Mr. and Mrs. Milton
Fish of Chicago, over the coming week-end. .
Mrs. Albert Wolgin of Dexter Blvd. will leave on Sunday for
Meridian, Miss., where she will spend a fortnight visiting her hus-
band, Staff Sgt. Wolgin, who is stationed at Key Field.
