know about them is that some-

Thrilling Love Story
At Cinema Theater

"Lad From Our Town" one of
the greatest dramas of our time,
now showing at the Cinema
Theater, depicts the courage of
youth facing an uncertain fu-
ture. Millions of young women
wait patiently, bravely, while
millions of young men decide
the fate -of the world and their
own destiny by force of - arms.
The -meaning of "Lad From
Our Town" is best expressed in
the words of the song sung by
Varya Lukonin to the wounded
soldiers in a front line. hospital:
"He who in battle grim
Holds his head up high
Knowing someone waits for him
Dear one cannot die."
The entire theme of the story,
made in Russian with Englsih
titles, delineates youth's un-
flinching courage in the face of
the world's uncertain future.
