Palestine by Jews and the basic
principles involved in aspirations

Palestine.

Conference Committee
Accepts Conditions
In UAHC Resolution

CINCINNATI — J. S. Pearl-
stein, administrative secretary of
the American Jewish Confer-
ence, has advised the Union of
American Hebrew Congrega-
tions that the conditions of the
UAHC Resolution recently
passed at a meeting of t h e
executive board were accepted
by the Interim Committee of
the Conference.
The resolution asserts that the
Union, continuing as a member
of the Conference, declares its
sense of fellowship with all
Israel. It states further that
because in the congregations of
the UAHC there are divergent
opinions on Zionism, the UAHC
recognizes the right of each in-
dividual to determine his own
attitude on this queStion and
therefore refrains from taking
any action on t h e Palestine
