Jews have been playing an important part in maintaining
a steady flow of life-saving plasma from the home front to
the battle lines, it was disclosed by Dr. G. Canby Robinson,
national director of the Red Cross Blood Donor Service, in
an appeal for additional donations to meet the Army and
avy requests for 5,000,000 blood donations in 1944.

Hundreds of Jewish workers have been enrolled as
volunteers in the 1944 Red Cross drive which will commence
on March 1. An increase of 25 per cent is asked in this year's
drive. Detroit's share in the $200,000,000 goal is $4,921,000.
