his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Helfman of Ohio Ave., before
returning to his post at Norfolk, Va.
Mrs. Mores Marks of the Belcrest Hotel and her son and
daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Alpern of Mt. Clemens, are
spending a fortnight in New York City.
Mrs. Ellis Fisher of Lakewood Ave. is spending a week in
Chicago where she is a guest at the Drake Hotel.
Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Shogan of Roselawn Ave. had as their
guests last week their son and daughter-in-law, Pvt. and Mrs.
Marvin Shogan. Pvt. Shogan was on a week's furlough from his
post at Camp Crowder, Mo.

from her station in the U.S.C.G.T.S. at Atlantic City, N. J., where
she is a switchboard operator at the Radio School.
Pvt. Sidney Winer, who has been stationed at Camp Blanding,
Fla., is spending his six-day furlough with Mrs. Winer and their
small daughter of Chicago Blvd., before leaving for his new post
at Camp Meade, Md.
Mrs. Milton Epstein of Forest Hills, L. I. is visiting her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joel Cashdan of Boston I.,
Miss Rhoda Lou Hayden has returned to her studies at Wes-
tern College, Oxford, 0., following a short visit with her father,
