On Wartime Living
This Friday Night

vited to hear an address on Jew-
ish education by Rabbi Harry I.
Wohlberg of Congregation Shom-
rei. Emunah, Brooklyri, honorar3r
secretary of Mizrachi Organiza-
tion of America, \ who is coming
for the annual Mizrachi dinner.
Rabbi. Wohlberg, a • member of
the Rabbinical Council of Amer-
ica 'and leader in religious circles
in New York, will remain here to
address the Yeshivah rally at 8:30
p. m. on Monday in the Dexter
and Cortland building. The meet-
ing will . conclude with a recep-
•tion at which Young Women's
:Mizrachi .will act as hostesses.
•Mizrachi men's and women's or-
ganizations are participating in
the function.
Monday's 'meeting is intended
to rally friends of Beth. Yehudah
for annual Yeshivah Month to he
:held during February and to eon-
.clude with the anniversary din-
ner on March 5 ; marking the com-
pletion of two years since Ye-
shivath. Beth Yehudah has oc-
cupied its new home.
Next month, a number of im-
portant educational functions will
be held to acquaint the commu-
nity. with the growth of the Ye-
shivath to an enrollment of more
than 300 students in all depart-
ments.

Liubavitcher Yeshivah
Purchases Unity Club

NEW YORK—Yeshivah Tom-
chei Tmimim, Brooklyn, princi-
pal Yeshivah of a network of its
kind in cities and towns from
coast to coast, announces pur-
chase of Brooklyn's well-known
fashionable Unity Club for its
new home.
The Liubavitcher Yeshivos,
renowned in Jewish communi-
ties the world over, point to a
half-century of fruitful activity.
With Jewish life overseas de-
stroyed, these Yeshivos have
now' been transplanted • to
Ameri ca.
Recently, the second anniver-
sary of the launching of the Liu-
bavitcher Yeshivos in America
was observed.
T h e principal Liubavitcher
Yeshivah, heretofore located at
770 Eatern Parkway, • Brooklyn,
will now be housed in the Unity
Club.
Other Liubavitcher Yeshivas
include: Yashivah Achi Tmimim,
Pittsburgh, and the Liubavitcher
Yeshivos in Worcester, Mass.;
Buffalo and Rochester, N. Y.;
and Montreal, Can (two Yesh-
