Maxa Nordau Speaks In Detroit Dec. 14 Maxa Nordau, able artist, daughter of the late Dr. Max Nordau, collaborator with Dr. Theodor Herzl in the founding of the political Zionist move- ment, will be guest speaker in Detroit, at Congregation Shaarey Zedek, on Tuesday evening, Dec. 14, at the Shaarey Zedek, The Zionist Organization of Detroit and the local chapter of Hadassah are jointly sponsoring this meeting which will be open to the public. Miss Nordau, in collaboration with her mother, Anna Nordau, recently published the biography of their eminent father and hus- band. It is one of the outstand- ing books on ZiOnism published in the last decade. Maxa Nordau is the wife of Captain of Aviation Claude Gru- enblatt, an engineer, who helped construct the port of Tel Aviv. Friendly Unit members went in a body to the Red Cross on Oct. 30 to make blood donations. Books were sent to the USO by members.
