J. N. Krolik Dies Tschernichovsky

Prominent Detroiter Active
in Family's Business;
Noted Yachtsman

Joseph N. Krolik, president of
the Krolik Bldg. Corp., and an
executive of the Krolik Corp.,
died Sunday at his home, 943
Alter Rd., at the age of 66.
.Funeral services were held Wed-
nesday. . .
Mr. Krolik, a native Detroiter,
in 1897 entered the "dry goods
firm of Krolik Corp.; which was
founded 72 years • ago by his
father, Adolph, and his two
uncles, Henry A. and Herman.
A yachtsman of note, Mr. Kro-
ilk's boat, Barbara Jane, was
entered in numerous races. He
was a member of Detroit Yacht
Club and served as commodore
of the Detroit River Yachting
Association.
His survivors are his wife,
Katherine; a son, Thayer; two
daughters, Mrs. Robert Rodger
of Detroit and Mrs. William Har-
ger of Syracuse, N. Y.; a brother,
Day Krolik, and three sisters,
Mrs. Albert Kahn, Mrs. David
Scheyer and Mrs. William Brown.

Women's Health Service Bnai Brith Group Gives
Extended at the Center
Waves Recreation Hall

A n extension o f women's
health services on Tuesday and
Thursday evenings has been an-
nounced by Mrs. Benjamin Jaffe,
chairman of the Women's Health
Club Committee of the Jewish
Community Center.
In answer to a large demand,
these new services, including
heat cabinet, ultra-violet ray
lamp and massage will be avail-
able for sub-senior, senior and
adult women. Members will par-
ticipate in regular physical edu-
c a t i o n activities. Badminton,
fencing, basketball, modern
dancing, gymnastics and swim-
ming will be offered.
The new Health Club service
will be inaugurated on Tuesday.
Inquiries regarding fees should
