17, at 8:30 p. in., at the Bnai
Moshe, Dexter and Lawrence,
by Rabbi Jacob J. Nathan.
Pledges are now being received
for the donor luncheon to be
held Nov. 30. Members are ask-
ed to send names and addresses
of their sons in the service, so
that they may receive packages.
Bonds and stamps for $1,000
were sold at the last meeting.
The next meeting will be held
at the Bnai Moshe at 1 p. m., on
Tuesday, Oct. 5.

Bnai Brith East Side Lodge
Ladies' Auxiliary announces that
it is furnishing six rooms for the
soldiers stationed at Willow Run
Base Hospital, through the man-
agement of its war efforts com-
mittee headed by Mrs, Esther
Factor and Mrs. Bess Orman. This
committee - recently presented
records and magazines to the
WAC center at Selfridge Field.
On Oct. 11, this Auxiliary will
prepare sandwiches and . cakes
for the soldiers at the USO cen-
ter.

Primrose Benevolent Club's
ninth annual donor luncheon will
be held Jan. 19 at .the Book
Cadillac. Mrs. N. Norman Gold-
berg, general chairman, is assist-
ed by Mrs. Jack Aaron, journal
chairman; Mrs. A. Hoffman and
Mrs. Sam Weinman, chairmen of
pledges; Mesdames Nathan Ra-
zunma, Nathan Sandler, Louis
Jacobson and J. Mettler, pledge
captains; Mrs. Jacobson and Mrs.

Vera-Amioca Social Club,
headed by Mrs. Jacob Levine
and accompanied by Mesdames

visited the Veterans Hospital in
Dearborn and presented gifts to
the entire fifth ward patients.
This group has been active in
the Third War Loan.

Athena Club resumed its
monthly meetings on Thursday,
Sept. 23, with Miss Sophie
Blanche, of 3310 Rochester Ave.,
club president, hostess. Organ-
ized as a Young Judean Club, it
was recognized two years ago.
The group has been active in
many American Affairs projects
and has made a pledge of $100
to the Youth Aliyah of Hadassah
in memory of their two de-
parted members, Mrs. Lottie
Salzman and Mrs. Nettie Katz.
Mrs. Harry Sawyer, 18280 Monte
Vista Ave., will be hostess at the
next meeting, Thursday, Oct. 28.

Rosenfield and Lawrence Kemp
were married Thursday after-
noon, Sept. 23, in Ann Arbor.

Bnai Brith Hillel Foundation per-
formed the ceremony. For the

Ravid-Beresh: Mr. and Mrs.
Seymour S. Ravid of 2903 Clem-

riage of their daughter, Ruth, to
Harry Beresh, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Edward Beresh, 2930 Clem-

formed at the Bnai David on
Sept. 14. Rabbi J. S. Sperka of-

candlelight ceremony was at-
tended by 150 guests. A recep-
tion followed. The bride and
groom left for their honeymoon
