University, • whose - meeting was
held here recently.
Dr. Magnes'• actions, the reso-
lution declared, are "contrary to
the policy of the Zionist Organi-
zation."
The gathering of 150 delegates,

`This Is Treason'

Dickstein Lands
Pamphlet of IWO

**ow'

NEW YORK, N. Y.—Congress-
man Samuel Dickstein has en-
dorsed the publication of a new
pamphlet on anti-Semitism, "This
Is Treason," published by the
National Activities Department
of the International Workers Or-
der.
"Under the fresh impulse of
events which occurred in the last
few weeks in Detroit and other
places," he declared in his fore-
word, "the renewed efforts of
the Ku Klux Klan to make this
country . conscious of its racial
problems, causes all of the friends
of American tradition 'and fair
play to take notice of antii-Seriii,
tism as a destructive force."
Written : °. by.. Sol • Vail; IWO
Boston .District . deader, the -32-
page popular priced pamphlet
exposes the huge propaganda
machine that , • directly chanelizes
anti-Semitism and anti-Negro
outbreaks throughout the coun-
try. The 1- ooklet. traces the plan-
ned sabotage which connects so-
called innocent "jokes" about
Jews, NegroeS and other minori-
ties, with deep-rooted Nazi in-
spired campaigns to discredit the
war, and .to. diVide the nation
into sections warring against each
other.

The Detroiter, Leonard Moss,

were giVen two days off to at-

during Passover.
"We attend chapel every Sat 7

free until midnight. We do extra
duties on Sunday morning to al-
low others to attend church serv-
ices . . . that in itself is a lesson
in American deinocraey; al-
though the fellows don't speak of
it that way, they call it fair play.
But I don't think - Ainetican youth
is decadent—not while they dis-
play a spirit • of co-operation like
that," Moss wrote.
"I guess you know that I. was
never deeply .religious but being
away from home creates so "many

The Spanish measure, regard-
ed as a drastic reversal of policy,
will imPbSe added burdens on
the relief organizations, since the
prisoners haVe to be fed by

groups While under • detention.
One interpretation of the move
offered _ here was that Dictator
Franco wished to. have all anti-
Fascist elements in custody in
the event of an Allied invasion
of the Continent. Another was
that the Spanish government was
bringing pressure on relief
groups to, expedite the transfer
of all Tefugees,.from Spanish soil.

"The ministry realizes that a
