Back the Attack with Bonds

By MAURICE A. ARONSSON

The army of Americans is on the march—and victory is
within our reach.
As on the baseball diamond, or the gridiron, or in a
game of chess, over-confidence and failure to protect every
hard-won point may cost the entire game.
That's the way with this war.
We must protect our gains—and for us at home the one
way of protecting our gains is to make sure
that we pass the ammunition to those who
are doing the actual fighting.
At the moment, we are engaged in an
effort to raise a large sum of money for the
Third War Loan.
Every Bond purchased in this cam-
paign is a symbol of our alertness in this
war and our readiness to pass the ammu-
nition:
M. A. Aronsson
We must do this quickly and well.
The moment we fail to provide all the sinews of war,.
we fail.
There is a job to be done—and we have a share in the
great responsibility of winning the war.
This job requires work. It require:, vision. It demands
that we understand that we are not giving anyone anything,
but are investing a few extra dollars for our own security.
Let us guarantee our security by participating in full
measure in the Third War Loan.
Back the attack with Bonds!
