Due to the war emergency and
the leaving of many rabbis for
the chaplaincy, . pr. Leo M.
Franklin, Rabbi Emeritus of
Temple Beth El, has consented
to conduct the supplementary
services on the High Holy Days,
which will be held in the Brown
Memorial Chapel.
A professional quartet and or-
ganist, trained by the music di-
rector, Julius Chajes, will ren-
der the musical program of the
services. These services are
open to non-members who may
obtain tickets at a nominal price
at the Temple office which is

open daily from 9:00 a. m. to
5:00 p. M., and on week ends
from 9:00 to 12:00 noon.
Dr: B. Benedict Glazer has re-
turned from his summer vaca-
tion and will preach at the Sat-
urday morning services this Sat-
urday.
The Temple is now engaged
in preparation for the High Holy
Days. The services in the main
auditorium will be conducted by
Dr. Glazer, who will also preach
the sermons.
Admission to the main audi-
torium will be for members and
their families only.

branch preparatory classes in the
Bnai David Synagogue after
Labor Day.
