spending a month in Duluth visiting with relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Nate Plotkin of West Outer Drive are spending
two weeks in Charlevoix.
Mr. and Mrs. Larry Weingarden of Santa Rosa Ave. and Mr.
and Mrs. Warren Greenstone of Littlefield Ave. are spending a
week in Frankfort, Mich.
Mrs. Al Sklar is spending the summer in Atlantic City.
Lt. Michael Maskaron spent a five-day leave from his post in
Langley, Va., with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Maskaron of
Collingwood Ave.
Pvt. Milton Mallon is spending a • 10-day furlough with his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Isadore Mallon of Leslie Ave.
Dr. and Mrs. Herschel Zackheim have come from New York
City to visit with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Bialosky of
Webb Ave. and Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Zackheim of Webb Ave.
Mrs. Rebecca Martin and Mrs. Allen L. Pick of Fullerton
Ave. are on a three-week visit with Capt. and Mrs. Peter A. Martin
and their infant daughter, Arlene Carol, in Albany, Oregon. Capt.
Martin, son of Mrs. Martin, is stationed with the Medical Corps
at Camp Adair, Oregon.

The Abe Schmiers of Fairfield Ave. are vacationing at the
Arcady Country Club on Lake George, Hague, N. Y.
Under the chairmanship of Mrs. Minnie Goodman and Mrs.
Ida Canvasser of the Isaac Agree Memorial Society, a group of
ladies sponsored a picnic at the Lapeer State Home and Training
School, for the benefit of the Jewish group at that institution.
Rabbi Herman Rosenwasser is serving as Chaplain of this institu-
tion, making weekly visits there.

Louis Goldberg and his daughter, Betty, of the Belcrest Hotel
are vacationing in New York, and will also spend several weeks
in Asbury Park. Mrs. Goldberg will join them later.
On July 14, a picnic supper was given at Lola Valley Park,
in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Marks.
Mrs. Don Roberts (Anne Berger) and Miss Selma 'Roberts left
on July 13 for Miami Beach, Fla.
Mr. and Mrs. Barney Laurie and son, formerly of Detroit and
recently of St. Louis, are guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Emil
Raskin of 16596 Normandy Ave.
Pfc. Donald L. 'Leib returned to Camp McCoy, Wis., after spend-
ing a seven-day furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. Leib.
Cpl. Rubin Zissman, who is stationed at Camp Beale, Calif., is
home on a 15-day furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
