Classified 15 —Page 5 James I. Ellmann was re-elected president of the Jewish Community Council at the biennial elections Tuesday eve- ning at the Jewish Community Center. Joseph Bernstein, Aaron Droock and Morris Garvett were elected vice-presidents. William Hordes was chosen secretary, and Julian H. Krolik, treasurer. The executive committee of the Jewish Community Council was enlarged to 36 members by an amendment to the Constitution passed earlier in the meeting. Twelve mem- bers will serve for three years, 12 for two years, and 12 for one year. Fred M. Butzel was again elected honorary president of the Council. The newly-elected members of the executive committee were divided into three groups, for three-year, two-year and one-year terms. Their selection into these categories was based on the number of votes they received in the election. In addition to the 36 candidates elected, there were six nomi- nees from the floor. Those elected for a three-year term are: Rabbi Morris Adler, Fred M. Butzel, Lawrence W. Crohn, Rabbi Leon Fram, Dr. B. Benedict Glazer, Dr. A. M. Hersh- man, Dr. S.
