Moshe This Sunday

Congregation Bnai Moshe's re-
ligious .school will hold com-
mencement exercises at 11 a. m.

assembly, and gifts will be dis-
tributed to graduates by the

board, A. Finkelstein.
Geraldine Nagler will give the
prayer for victory. Marilyn Hass
will present the class gift and . it

Finkelstein will deliver the vale-

Katzman. Music will be provided

Shovuoth Broadcast
Over NBC on Sunday

NEW YORK—A special Shov-
uoth broadcast in celebration of
the, birth of the Ten Command-
ments, 4,000 years ago, will be
presented over NBC Sunday, June
6, at 1:30 p. m. (EWT).
On this occasion NBC also will
dedicate the Hebrew altar in its
recently re-decorated studio for
religious broadcasting.
Dr. Stephen S. Wise will de-
liver the Rabbinical message.
The Shovuoth program will be
offered in cooperation with the
Synagogue Council of America
and will feature appropriate
liturgical music by a. choir under
the direction of A. W. Binder,
professor of Jewish liturgical mu-
sic at the Jewish Institute of
Religion.

The boys and girls who will
participate are: Carol Altman,
Diane Colbert, Beulah Franzblau,
Rita Fidler, Susan Gollman, Ron-
ald Gollman, Nancy Reisman,
Sharon Reisman and David
Seldes.

Downtown Synagogue's
Services on Shovuoth

Shovuoth will be observed at
the Downtown Synagogue on
Wednesday and Thursday, at
8 a. in. On Thursday, June 10,
special memorial services or

man Rosenwasser will be in
charge of all services.

Rabbi Ebin Dies

NEW YORK (JPS) — Rabbi
Nachman H. Ebin, prominent
Orthodox Mizrachi leader, died
here at the age of 60. He had
been rabbi of the • Congregation
Sons of Israel in Brooklyn for
the past 22 years. He was the
son-in-law of Rabbi A. M. Ashin-
sky of Pittsburgh, formerly of
Detroit.
