Kreger of Wildemere Ave. Miss Stella Alpern of the Belcrest Hotel spent the past week- end in Cincinnati. Drs. Kenneth K. Belensky, Herman M. Lifton and Max S. Moss were commissioned First Lieutenants in the Dental Corps of the U. S. Army, and have left for Camp Grant, Illinois. Mrs. Peter Vass and her daughter, Alice, of the Statler Hotel have returned from a month's stay in Los Angeles where they visited with Mrs. Vass' son-in-law and daughter, Lt. and Mrs. Allan Tolmich. Miss Sarah Frazer of Dumbarton Rd. and Mrs. Samuel Keene of Atkinson Ave. returned on Friday from a few days' stay in Toronto. Mr. and Mrs. Max Grosfeld of Farrand Pk. have as their guest their son, Sgt. Walter H. Grosfeld, who is on a 10-day furlough from his post at Drew Field, Tampa, Fla. Their other son, Sgt. Seymour Grosfeld, who entered the service a few weeks ago, is stationed at Camp Riley, Missouri. Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Hartman of Broadstreet Ave. are spending a week in New York City. Mr. and Mrs. Felix Mahler have moved from LaSalle Blvd. and are now residing at 900 Whitmore Rd. Lt. (j. g.) Howard Bloom spent two days with his family, Mr. and Mrs. George Bloom of Tennyson Ave., enroute from Boston to Gulfport, Miss. Mrs. Bloom and their son, Gary, who have been spending some time in Florida, will join him in Gulfport.
