the USO Center April 12. The
three presidents, Henrietta Ni-

of Young Women elected the fol-

Department of Michigan
Ladies' Auxiliary of Jewish War
Veterans of U. S. sponsored a
party for veterans at the United
States Veterans Facility Hospital
at Dearborn, on April 21. Among
the entertainers were members
of the casts appearing at the La-
fayette and Wilson theaters—the
three Stones, . , Fred and his
daughter from the Lafayette, and
Dorothy; Charles Collins, Jay C.
Flippen, master of ceremonies of
the Wilson, and others. Gifts and
tokens were distributed to the
patients. Mrs. Ruth Schreiber,
hospitalization chairman, was in
charge of the program.

Mrs. Minnie Copeland of New York City and her daughter, Mrs.
William Feinstein of Lawrence, L. I., are visiting with Mrs. Cope-

Mrs. Seymour Anoff, who has been visiting her parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Max J. Weinberg of Warrington Dr., left on Tuesday to
join her husband in Dayton, 0. Mr. Anoff has a government posi-
tion at Wright Field.

Complimenting Miss Ruth Warren, whose marriage to Ivan
Meisner will take plaCe on May 2, Mrs. M. B. Weiner gave a kitchen
and bathroom shower on April 14 in her home on Greenlawn Ave.
The Misses Solomon of Atkinson Ave. had as their guest for a

The Jewish News desires to

deadline at 4 p. in. on Fri-
day, April 23.

Passover
Recipes

Kneidlach
3 eggs
3 Tablespoons hot chicken fat
3 T. Warm water
2 medium potatoes, cooked and
. mashed
1 teaspoon salt, dash of pepper
1 cup matzo meal.
Beat eggs into potatoes, add re-
maining ingredients. Set aside
for two hours, then form mixture
into small balls and cook in hot
chicken soup for 30 minutes.

Honey Frosting for Passover
Sponge Cake .
One egg white stiffly beaten,
add gradually 1/2 cup honey. Beat
with electric mixer for 15 min-
utes. Fresh grated cocoanut may
be used for topping.
