JERUSALEM (ZOA). — The
presence in Palestine of the
daughter of Maximilian Harden,
one of Germany's famous writers
during the regime of the late
Kaiser, was revealed when a lo-
cal Hebrew paper recently pub-
lished an article by her on the
social services in Palestine..
It is significant to note that
Maximilian Harden, \vho was
editor of the German weekly
Zukunft, though born a Jew did
not remain one. However, this
did not prevent him being a vic-
tim of anti-Semitism- when he
supported the German Republic.
His daughter, who fled to Pales-
tine, is now an ardent Zionist.
