Army and Lt. Margaret R. Stew-
art, officer in charge of Women's
Army Auxiliary Corps, the De-
' partment of Michigan Ladies'
Auxiliary of the Jewish War
Veterans and the women's groups
affiliated with the Jewish Com-
munity Council will participate
in a rally to contact women of
21 to 44 who are eligible for
service with the WAACs.
The program will commence
at 8 p. m. on Tuesday, March 25,
at the Bnai Moshe, Dexter and
Lawrence. Forty WAAC recruits
who have already been accepted
will be sworn in at this rally.
There will be entertainment, mu-
sic by the Fort Wayne Army
Band, presentation of an Ameri-
can Flag to the WAACs. Re-
freshments will be served. The
public is invited, admission be-
ing free.

Jewish youth in the present war-
time period will be discussed at
the all-day conference of the
League of Detroit Jewish Youth
on Sunday, March 28, at the
Jewish Community Center,
Among those who will partici-
pate will be Dr. Walter Berg-
man, Philip Slomovitz, Dr. Betsy
Jane Welling, Mrs. Geraldine
Bledsoe and Samuel Jacobs.
A pictorial presentation of war
subjects will be presented at the
conference with the showing of
"Soldier Without Uniforms," "A
Child Went Forth," "High Stakes
in the East," "China Strikes
Back," "Point Rationing of Food"
and "A Place to Live."
