The public is invited. There
will be an opportunity to discuss
the considerations presented by

Boys About to Observe Ritual at Congregation Must Have
Years of Jewish Education and a Year's Attendance
at Sabbath Services There

A set of new requirements for Bar Mitzvahs was adopted
by Congregation Shaarey Zedek of Detroit. Higher standards
are demanded of sons of members as well as non-members
who desire to observe their Bar Mitzvahs at the Shaarey
Zedek.
The Shaarey Zedek statement of higher Bar Mitzvah
requirements follows:

nifigance and value, has adopted
