Dr. B. Benedict Glazer in turn
will preach at Dr. Pullman's
church on Sunday morning, Feb.
21.
Dr. Pullman has the distinc-
tion of being one of the most
prominent Unitarian Ministers in
this city.
The musical portion of the ser-
vices will be under the direction
of Julius Chajes, with Jason Tick-
ton at the organ. A social hour
in the social hall, under the
sponsorship of the Sisterhood,
will take place after the services.
This Friday evening Dr. Glazer
will speak on "The Tests of Moral
and Patriotic Leadership" with
special reference to our war time
statesmen.

on Feb. 26, Temple Israel will
hold a reception in honor of
Rev. and Mrs. Crane and Mrs.
Sallie Crane.
The Young People's Club of
Temple Israel has invited the
Young People's groups of Cen-
tral Methodist Church to attend
and to stay for a symposium to
be presided over by Rabbi Fram
and Rev. Crane.
This Friday night, the members
of Temple Israel are bringing
non-Jewish friends to the ser-
vices. Rabbi Fram will preach
on "The Inter-faith Basis of a
Just and Enduring Peace." Cantor
Robert S. Tulman, accompanied
by Karl Haas, and supported by
the youth choir of Temple Israel
will render the music.

A statement issued this week
by the Council of Orthodox Rab-
bis of Detroit pointed to the need
for a Kosher restaurant in. De-
troit and announced that the
Vaad Horabonim is planning a
meeting of representative Ortho-
dox Jews to lay the foundation
for such a restaurant. The state-
ment said that many observant
Jews have come to this city re-
cently and are anxious to obtain
strictly kosher food. The pro-
posed restaurant is to be under
rabbinical supervision.

A mid-year conference of the
National Council of Young Is-
rael will be held in New York

The Hebrew Speaking Circle

of PFC Sam Eisen, in the South
