Lieut Bernard Frank Kaye left on Dec. 16 for his post at Fort
Sam Houston. Tex., following a 10-day leave spent with his
mother, Mrs. Bertha Kaye of West Philadelphia Ave.
Mrs. Eugene Kopple of Colorado Ave. has returned from St.
Paul, Minn., where she has been the guest for the past few months
of her son-in-law and daughter, Dr. and Mrs. H. J. Rothchild.

Frank Boxman, Petty Officer III Class, is home on a 30-day fur-
lough, visiting with his father, Jacob Boxman of Webb Ave.

Mr. and Mrs. Adrian D. Rosen of Sturtevant Ave. have re-
turned from a week's trip to New York City and Harrisburg, Pa.,
where they visited with Mr. Rosen's brother, Lieut. Ralph Rosen,
who is with the U. S. Air Corps.

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Goldberg and daughter, Betty, have moved
from their home on Webb Ave. and are now residing at the Belcrest
Hotel.

Mr. and Mrs. Mitchel Gandal, - 1337 East Boulevard, Cleveland,
announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Mildred, to
Dr. Israel 111. Goldman of Providence, R. I., son of Morris Goldman
and the late Mrs. Anna Goldman of Brooklyn, N. Y. The wedding
will take place in New York City late in January. Miss Gandal was
associated with the Bureau of Jewish Education in Cleveland until
this fall, when she accepted a position with the Jewish Theological
Seminary of America in New York. Dr. Goldman, a graduate of the
Jewish Theological Seminary, is the rabbi of Temple Emanu-El of
Providence and Lecturer at Brown University. He is also the direct-
or of the National Academy for Adult Jewish Studies under the
auspices of the Jewish Theological Seminary. Miss Gandal is the
sister of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Slomovitz of Detroit and has a host
of friends in this city.

Mrs. Morse Saulson ha.r, returned from New Brunswick, N. J.,
where she visited her brother-in-law and sister, Dr. and Mrs. Jack
Uhr, and her son, William, who is a student at Rutgers College.
Sidney H. Arden, a student at the Chicago Medical School, is
home for his vacation with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry W.
Arden, 8904 LaSalle Blvd.
Mr. and Mrs .Charles Fineberg, 18954 Warrington Drive, will
hold open house on Sunday, Dec. 20, 3 to 6 p. m., in honor of their
newborn son, William Michael. No cards.
Louis James Rosenberg has returned from New York, where
he attended the first conference of the American Free World
Association.
Miss Nettie Cohen of New York will arrive Friday for a two
weeks' stay with her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred
C. Allan of 18243 Fairfield Ave. The Allans will hold open house on
New Year's Day, beginning at 7 p. m.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Goldberg and their daughter, Betty, have
moved from Webb Ave. and are now residing at the Belcrest Hotel.
Miss Ruth Prince, whose marriage to Dr. Alvin Yarrows will
take place Dec. 20, has been honored by a shower given for her
by her aunt, Mrs. Zolzman, at the Wilshire, on Nov. 12; Nov. 20, at
luncheon and theater afterwards, by Ida Eisensmith; Dec. 4, at
luncheon at the Statler by Mrs. Harold Mahler; and on Dec. 15, a
spinster dinner at the home of Ruth Stone.
Mr. and Mrs. Emanuel M. Baker of 17350 Ohio Ave. have
returned from a six weeks' stay at the Beach Crest Apartments,
Hollywood Beach, Fla.
Mrs. Daniel E. Cohn of Santa Barbara Ave. has returned from
a 10-day trip to Denver Colo., where she visited her husband, Capt.
Cohn, who is stationed at Fitzsimmons General Hospital.

Rouff - Kotlier: Mr. and Mrs.
Samuel Kotlier of Glendale Ave-
announce the marriage of their
daughter, Rae, to Staff Sergeant
Stewart M. Rouff, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Norman Rouff of Cal-
vert Ave. The ceremony was
performed on Dec. 12 in St. Pet-
ersburg, Fla., and was attended
by the bride's mother, Mrs. Sam-
uel Kotlier, and the groom's

mother, Mrs. Norman Rouff. The
couple will reside in Tampa, Fla.,
near MacDill Field, where Ser-
geant Rouff is stationed.

of Miss Destine Bakerman, the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry

Ave., to Herman R. Kyff of Yon-
kers was solemnized on Dec. 10

Glazer, at Temple Beth El. At

features depicting the work and
achievements of the organization
and the progress of the school.
The Kindergarten also will oc-
cupy an important place in the
