Name-Changing Tragedies
Louis Adamic is the outstand-

lands have covered a "two-way

assimilation into the American

Our

CHILDREN'S
CORNER

Everybody Must Give to the

War Chest
In all schools, as well as in
every home, children are now be-
ing asked to become partners in
a great humanitarian effort.
Men, women and children—all
are asked to give their share to
the War Chest.
Those of you who have read
the tragic story of the children
in France, as well as the boys
and girls in Poland and other
countries now ruled by the cruel
Nazis, will understand what it
means to provide relief for them.
Also, those of us who know the
meaning of a home will realize
how important it is to build the
Jewish National Home in Pales-
tine for tens of thousands who
are looking for means of escape
from lands of oppression.
These are among 50 Jewish
causes which will be supported
with funds raised by the War
Chest.
Therefore we must all be pre-
pared to give as much as we can.
Plan your gift now through
your -school, and encourage your
parents to be as generous as
possible.

YOUR LIFE is pv)-
tecteal by the expe-
rience, knowledge and
skill of our pharma-
cists who have been
filling your prescrip-
tions accurately for
so many years. Long
practice and the con-
fidence of the medical
profession qualify us
to supply your med-
ical needs.
