Dr. and Mrs. William Haber of Ann Arbor were guests of Dr.

and Mrs. Fleinman are leaving for Chicago this week end to visit
their children, Dr. Bernice Warren and Dr. Irving A. Warren, wha
has been assigned to duty as a first lieutenant with the Air Ccrps
in Louisville, Ky.
Mrs. Nathan Lacs of Boston Blvd. spent the past week-end
visiting with First Lieut. and Mrs. Leopold J. Snyder (Phyllis
Pelavin) at Louisville, Ky.
Complimenting Miss Roslyn Helen Fellman, who became the
bride of Dr. Herbert L. Pariser on Sept. 24, a group of her mother's
friends entertained at a luncheon and miscellaneous shower for 75
guests on Sept. 19 at Hotel Statler. The hostesses were Mesdames
Edward Stein, Sidney Wallace, Benjamin L. Alpert, Lewis Zuiebeck,
George Lowell, Maurice Siden, Charles K. Harris and Moe Leiter.

ACTIVITIES IN SOCIETY

Zedakah Club will entertain
members and friends at its "Fall
Tea" at the Jewish Center at 1:30
p. m. on Oct. 19.
Besides its work of supple-
menting aid to indigent old folks,
Zedakah Club contributes to lo-
cal Jewish charitable movements
and to overseas and war causes.
The club has furnished two day
rooms at Fort Brady at a cost of
$550. A pledge of $500 has been
made to the Army and Navy War
Relief Fund, with an increase in
proportion to receipt from the
annual donor luncheon to be held
in December.
