Thirty-one radio technicians,
operators and engineers now are
needed where only one now is
being supplied, according to T. J.
Casey, director of the Radio Elec-

Grand River Ave.
Consequently, he points out,
there is always a job waiting for
the man who is well trained in
this field, and what is more, the
pay is tops. If you are expecting
to go into the service, Mr. Casey
says, you may be interested in
knowing that the rating for ra-
dio personnel is usually two to
six times the pay of an ordinary
private.
The Radio School is being de-
luged with demands for oper-
ators by airlines, police radio,
state police, signal corps, army
air corps, engineering labora-
tories and broadcasting stations.
If you are interested, call Mr.
Casey at CAdillac 2814, and he
will be glad to tell you how easy
it is to qualify.

Moreover, the same rules were
to be applied to the employment
of aliens, unless orders to the
contrary were given by the
Army and Navy.
INCLUDE LABOR UNIONS
The comprehensive nature of
Mrs. Rosenberg's order was il-
lustrated in her emphasis that
the non-discrimination clause is
also to be applied to the practices
of labor unions, some of which
have been known to bar people
on grounds of color or race. If
labor unions appear in the role
of employers, they, too, will have
to abide by U.S.E.S. regulations.
The instructions to U.S.E.S. em-
ployes also forbid the mainten-
ance of any private code indicat-
ing the nature of the workers
sought.
Several exceptions to the new
rules are provided, in the case of
special types of restaurants or
families or religious institutions
which ask for a worker adapted
to the needs of the particular
employer.

who would invoke racial, relig-

weaken the fundamentals on
which democracy is based we
destroy democracy. He declared
that with the help of God we

would come to us and our allies
and that we would again build a
