Abraham Cooper, for years one of the most prominent

Zionists Celebrate
U. S. Approval of
Homeland Plan

WASHINGTON, D. C.—Zionist
districts throughout the country
will mark with rallies and special
functions beginning June 30, the
20th anniversary of the adoption
by both houses of the United
States Congress of the Joint Res-
olution favoring the establish-
ment of a Jewish National Home-
land in Palestine. The observance
will be held jointly with local
Hadassah chapters and other
Zionist groups and arc expected
to continue through the summer
months, concluding on Sept. 21,
the date on which the joint res-
olution was signed by President
Warren G. Harding, 20 years ago.

Reports outlining the Zionist
position and the situation in Pal-
estine were submitted by retir-
ing officers and committee heads
who also described the "love-

past year in Detroit.

center of infectious enthusiasm "
