Jewish Scouts
End Active Year

Boy Scout Troop No. 369, com-
posed entirely of Jewish boys,
reported an active year's contri-
bution to the war effort, at its
first anniversary party held at
the Lawton-Davison branch of
the Jewish Community Center,
with their parents as guests. The
troop was organized with 12
charter members, and during the
year the roll has increased to 40.
During the twelve months of
its existence, the troop has col-
lected a large amount of alumi-
num, five tons of waste paper,
and a substantial quantity of
scrap rubber. It raised $500 for
the USO at a local theater, and
$500 for the President's March of
Dimes. Most of the boys live in
the Dexter-Davison area. William
Katz is scoutmaster, William
Goldstein, assistant, and Lewis
Hyams, chairman of the troop
committee.
