To Speak Tuesday

K a d i a Malodowsky, famous
writer and poet, who has reached
the heights of recognition in 'Yid-
dish literature, has completed her
new book, "Fun Lublin Bizel New
York". She will be the guest
speaker on Tuesday evening, June
9, at the Sholom Aleichem Folk
Institute headquarters, 3754 Mon-
terey, under auspices of the Sho-
lom Aleichem Reading Groups.
The reading clubs also assist
Jewish refugee authors and help
support the Kinder Journal, Yid-
dish Scientific Institute, Teach-
ers' Seminary, Detroit Jewish
Library, 'and all Jewish cultural
platforms. They are also prepar-
ing for a luncheon and bridge to
be given on Wednesday, June
10, 1 p. m., in Kern's Auditor-
ium, for the benefit of the ehii-
dren's agencies.
